Sand tiger sharks are denser than water and maintain buoyancy by swallowing air and holding it in their stomachs.

For the first time ever, you can get a behind the scenes look at Shark Realm during feeding time! Enjoy a guided tour of our largest shark exhibit from the perspective of a biologist and learn how these incredible predators are fed by our shark experts here at Adventure Aquarium.

Ocean Realm Feed Tour

Experience a guided tour above our largest exhibit during feeding time! Learn how biologists feed sharks among 760,000 gallons of water and over 400 animals, get a top view of our two Ocean Realm shark species being fed, and check out the newest inhabitants: Spotted Eagle Rays!
