How do I find out what jobs are available?
The Adventure Aquarium career site is updated regularly with all current job openings.
Can I apply for multiple positions?
Yes. You can apply for as many open positions as you wish. After applying for your first choice, click on the Existing Resume/CV at the bottom of the next job listing for which you would like to apply. Log in and update your profile as necessary. Your resume for each position will be individually reviewed and will not affect any of your other submissions.
Do I need a resume to apply?
No. You do not need a resume to apply; however, you may upload a resume and/or cover letter to your application profile if you choose. If you do not have a resume to upload but would like to include one in your application, the application process will allow you to create one.
Will I receive a confirmation email that my application was received?
Yes. After you apply online, a confirmation acknowledgement will be emailed to you.
Can I fill out an application in person?
Unfortunately, you cannot fill out an application in person at this time. Our application process is online only through Adventure Aquarium's careers site.
What can I do if there are no positions currently listed or available within my skill set?

After I have applied, when can I expect to hear back on the status of my application?
Typically, you can expect to receive an email about your application status within one to two weeks after submitting your application.
Can I volunteer for Adventure Aquarium?
All of our volunteer opportunities are managed by the Center for Aquatic Sciences at Adventure Aquarium. To apply, please go to Center for Aquatic Sciences at Adventure Aquarium.
When can I expect to hear feedback from an interview?
Interview feedback time can vary depending upon how many interviews are scheduled for the hiring manager. You will receive a phone call or email from Adventure Aquarium informing you of your interview status typically within one to two weeks. The entire interview process could take up to a month from the date of application to final selection.
How long does the hiring process take?
Every position has a unique pathway to employment. Therefore, there are several steps taken in each hiring process. On average, the hiring process can take from one week up to a month from acceptance of a job offer.
How long are shifts?
Shift length varies depending on operational needs. Typically, shifts are between 4-8 hours from 9am-6pm, with some variations dependent on the season, holidays, special events, etc.
My phone number has changed since I last submitted my application. How can I reflect this change?
You can change your phone number or any other information by clicking the “Update Your Profile” link under the Employment Listings page.
How can I expect to be contacted by Adventure Aquarium?
Most correspondence from Adventure Aquarium will take place via email. Occasionally, we will contact you via the primary contact phone number provided with the application.
Why haven't I received a confirmation email?
