Immerse your guests in luxury as they enter Currents, the ballroom at Adventure Aquarium. Imagine an event space with a spectacular view of the Philadelphia skyline and a fascinating look into our 550,000-gallon Shark Realm exhibit, which feature hundreds of amazing fish and nearly 30 sharks! A dramatic entryway into the ballroom creates ample room for greeting guests upon arrival. The contemporary design of flowing ceiling panels and etched wave walls creates a tranquil underwater décor. In addition, multiple ballroom configurations can be achieved that offer guests the expansive Currents Ballroom experience or the more intimate West Wind, Oceanic or Gulfstream rooms.

Mingle in front of our 760,000-gallon Ocean Realm exhibit full of colorful fish, playful sea turtles, sharks, shark rays, and stingrays while enjoying cocktails and hors d’oeuvres. Wander through Caribbean Currents and see thousands of tropical fish, as well as an indoor waterfall at Rivers of the World. Dance under the magical undersea mobile in our rotunda as you enjoy a perfect view of the striking Philadelphia skyline, spectacular at sunset.
