Underwater Mermaid Experience

• Upon entering the Aquarium, you will receive a ticket with your designated entry time to the Underwater Mermaid Experience.
• To check in for your designated time, proceed to Shark Den in Zone D.
• We ask that guests arrive on time for their designated entry time, which can be found on the front of their timed-entry card.
• As you enter Hippo Haven, there will be directional signage to lead you to the check-in area.

Meet a Mermaid

• Head to Zone B to meet a mermaid on dry land and have your photo taken by one of our professional photographers.
• The line for the Mermaid Meet & Greet begins in Zone B by the Membership Desk.
• This experience does not operate on timed entry.

Mermaid Beach Club

• Head on over to Stingray Beach Club (Zone B) to see a mermaid sitting among our stingrays as she waves and blows kisses.
• This experience does not operate on timed entry.
• Note: Stingray Beach Club will be closed for 15 minutes each hour as mermaids swap shifts.

All other guests, with the exception of Platinum Members, are required to make a reservation during the Mermaids festival. This includes:

• Bring-A-Friend Ticket Holders
• General Admission Ticket Holders
• Silver, Gold, and Pre-K Pass Members

Any non-Platinum Members (i.e., Silver & Gold Members, Bring-A-Friend ticket holders, GA ticket holders, Pre-K Pass Holders) visiting with a party of Platinum Members must also have a reservation to enter the Aquarium.

If you are not a Platinum Member and you show up without a reservation, you may need to wait for the next available entry time OR be denied entry if sold out.

Guests can make their reservations at https://www.adventureaquarium.com/reservations.

All Adventure Aquarium Members (including Platinum) using Bring-A-Friend tickets during Mermaids are required to make a reservation for their guests.

Members who purchased their Bring-A-Friend tickets before reservations for their guests at https://www.adventureaquarium.com/reservations or via the Member Portal, depending on when you purchase your Membership/tickets.

Depending on the current capacity of the Underwater Mermaid Experience, it may take up to 45 minutes to reach the window for the up-close photo op.

Guests looking for a quicker experience and would like just to SEE the Underwater Mermaid Experience and skip the photo op can use our Early Exit Lane for a quick look before continuing with the rest of their visit.

Guests can also find shorter wait times at our Mermaid Meet & Greet and Mermaid Beach Club experiences located in Zone B. These experiences do not operate on timed entry.

Due to high demand and to ensure that ALL guests can experience the magic of mermaids, including those visiting at the end of the day, we are unable to change your entry time for the Underwater Mermaid Experience.

Due to high demand and to reduce overall wait times, guests who miss their designated entry time may have to wait for the next available time slot or may be denied entry if the experience is at capacity.

While underwater, the mermaids have very little visibility, making it hard for them to see our dry-side guests. Because of this, we ask guests to be aware that the mermaids might not come directly to you while at the window taking photos.
