Penguin Park

Penguin Park is the perfect setting for families to play, explore and connect. Like the parks in your neighborhoods and communities, Penguin Park offers guests the chance to explore our new soft play area and get up close to learn about the parks favorite inhabitants, African penguins.

Largest Colony Ever

They're cute. They walk funny. They're flightless. But these little guys sure can swim. They're African penguins and you can find them at Penguin Island! Now with our largest colony ever!

Penguin Island includes a 17,000-gallon, 70' x 35' pool where our flightless feathered friends can swim, frolic and dive and since that's when they're at their most entertaining, we even have a 20-foot underwater viewing area. So come on down, check them out and have a laugh. We know you'll love them, too.

Explorers Cove

Explores Cove, the all new soft play area is the perfect setting to relax and enjoy a nice spring afternoon. The new playground area will feature seven nautical-themed climbing structures, including a pirate ship, canon, stingray, hammerhead shark and sea stars.

Additional picnic table seating and benches for dining will also provide opportunities for guests to relax and spend more time at Adventure Aquarium outdoors. Finally, new landscaping will accent the exterior exhibits to punctuate the overall look and feel of the park experience.

Explorers Cove is recommended for our younger visitors. We ask that all children using the area to be under 42 inches tall. Explorers Cove will be open daily during normal operating hours, weather permitting.

Penguin Feed and Talk

Penguins eat 20% of their body weight in one sitting! Watch it happen live at 11:15 AM or 3:30 PM during one of our daily feeds and hear our biologists talk about these fascinating creatures.

Note: Show times are subject to change, please check the show schedule for confirmation upon arrival.
