Adventure Aquarium Becomes The First Cultural Attraction In The Philadelphia Area To Offer A Free Pre-K Pass

Today, Adventure Aquarium launches their free Pre-K Kid’s Adventure Pass. This initiative marks the first time a cultural attraction in the Philadelphia area will offer a free Pre-K Pass for unlimited attendance. The pass will be available to children under five years old at the time of registration. Families must register online at and visit the aquarium to activate the pass in advance of the deadline on April 3rd. Quantities are limited, so families are encouraged to register online today. “Adventure Aquarium is thrilled to provide this unique opportunity for families to explore life underwater together,” said Vince Nicoletti, Executive Director of Adventure Aquarium. “Young children experience the Aquarium in such an enriching way. They are filled with wonder. It’s our hope that we can partner with parents to build that wonder into a lifelong love for the underwater world.”

While the overall aquarium experience is appropriate for guests of all ages, there are several attractions geared specifically to young children. The interactive KidZone is designed to appeal to young kids with a variety of engaging activities and exhibits to play and learn at the same time! Additionally, the tactile experience of the aquarium’s touch pools allows kids to be hands-on with a variety of animals including sea stars, sharks, and even stingrays. The Stingray Beach Club also features Sand Castle Island, a play area and touch pool designed for younger guests. Finally, Penguin Park offers a soft play area and an underwater viewing window where guests of all ages can get an up-close look at the African Penguins as they swim and dive!

After visiting the aquarium to activate the Pre-K Kid’s Adventure Pass, families are encouraged to return to Adventure Aquarium for Pirates AHOY!

From April 4th – May 17th, pirates will invade the aquarium with interactive shows, scavenger hunts, and even swashbuckling (sword fight) training! Full programming information for Pirates AHOY! will be announced in the coming weeks.

Pirates AHOY! is presented by Valley Forge Tourism & Convention Board.
