Summer Camp Programs
There’s no better way to learn about the ocean than to explore it. There’s no better way to appreciate the animals that live there than to know them. There’s no better way to protect the world’s oceans than to love them.
And there’s no better way to learn to love the oceans than to be a Sea Camper!
Join the Center for Aquatic Sciences at Adventure Aquarium for one of our “shark-tastic” summer camp experiences! Children will have the opportunity to discover marine animals and the oceans, engage in STEM-based learning, and connect with other students who share their love of all things aquatic.
- Small Fry Camp (Grade PreK) - Especially for campers who have just completed Pre-K, your “small fry” will have an amazing time investigating the wonders of the aquatic world in this half-day program.
- Ocean Explorers Camp (Grades K - 5) - Especially for campers in grades K - 5, Ocean Explorers Camp brings the aquatic world closer with fun-filled games and activities. Field trips and hands-on science give campers unique experiences they won’t soon forget!
- Junior Marine Biologist Camp (Grades 6 - 8) - Junior Marine Biologist camp is a daily summer camp at Adventure Aquarium for teens in grades 6 - 8. Full of hands-on science, animal interactions, field trips and more, this program is a great way to begin your research into marine science as a career or nurture your student’s love of the ocean.
- Underwater ROV Camp (Grades 6 - 9) - Remotely Operated Vehicles (ROVs) boldly go where human SCUBA divers cannot! During this one week ROV program, camper-engineers will hone their maker skills to design and build an underwater robot. They will learn about the industrial and scientific applications of ROVs and develop hands-on skills like soldering, waterproofing, and frame construction. Camp culminates with a friendly competition, where campers will pilot their ROVs through challenges based on real-world situations.
