PHILADELPHIA FLYER DERIAN HATCHER SWIMS WITH THE SHARKS!

On Wednesday, February 20th, Philadelphia Flyer Derian Hatcher helped prepare for his team’s February 21st, game against the San Jose Sharks, by swimming with them…literally! After signing autographs for guests, the defensemen suited up in scuba gear and an official Flyer’s jersey and immersed himself into the Aquarium’s 550,000-gallon Shark Realm exhibit. Hatcher, who says he always wanted to be a marine biologist, even donned an underwater sign that read, "The Sharks Don't Scare the Flyers!" While in the depths of the Shark Realm Exhibit, guests and members of the news media watched Hatcher’s underwater shark adventure through the Aquarium’s Shark Den viewing window!
