The New Jersey Academy for Aquatic Sciences, the education partner of Adventure Aquarium, offers a variety of classroom lessons to enhance your group’s trip to Adventure Aquarium. Our hands-on lessons are designed to support your classroom’s science curriculum, and enhance Common Core Curriculum Standards and Next Generation Science Standards.

Go to the top of our Ocean Realm exhibit in our "top of tank" tour. Home to over 1,500 animals, our Ocean Realm exhibit gives a spectacular view of life under the waves. This 30-minute tour allows you and your students to get a rare glimpse of the top of this exhibit and see our animals up close. Limit 20 people per half-hour tour.

Our Scavenger Hunt is geared towards grades 9-12, assisting teachers in focusing their student’s enthusiasm by slowing them down and helping them experience each exhibit and animal more thoroughly, offering questions to students that encourage creative thinking and careful observation to answer.
