Summer Sea Camp 2013
Join the New Jersey Academy for Aquatic Sciences at Adventure Aquarium for a summer of aquatic fun! Through field trips, hands on activities, crafts, games, a 4D Theatre Show, up-close animal encounters, as well as behind the scenes and exhibit tours at Adventure Aquarium, your child will have a summer experience they won’t soon forget!
Hours: Camp runs Monday—Friday from 9:00 am – 3:30 pm
Cost: Week 1 & 2: $275 per week
Ask about discounts for siblings, multiple weeks, and Adventure Aquarium Annual Passholders. Cost includes daily snacks, all materials and supplies, and field trips. Campers must bring their own lunch. Spaces are limited and are on a first-come, first-served basis. After care available for an additional $10 per day/$50 per week.

Week 1: Shark Scientists
July 8 - 12, 2013
Explore the world’s top ocean predator—The Shark! We’ll look at these ancient predators and explore the myths and fears that surround this often misunderstood, but totally cool, creature!
Week 2: Reptile Researchers
July 15 - 19, 2013
Mighty Mike, the 14-foot, 800 pound American Alligator is back at Adventure Aquarium! Spend a week learning about Mike, his story, and some of his reptile cousins – turtles, snakes and lizards—during this week long reptile exploration!
Junior Marine Biologists
July 22—August 3, 2013
Junior Marine Biologist Camp is a unique, hands-on, intensive experience for science-minded teens. Campers will learn about the inner workings of the aquarium through behind the scenes tours, meet the exotic animals in our education collection close-up, and experience ecology through interactive demonstrations and activities. We’ll also discuss careers in biology and environmental science and hone our observation skills on trips into the field to explore the diversity of New Jersey wildlife. Camp culminates in an overnight (August 2nd to August 3rd) at Adventure Aquarium.
Hours: Camp runs from 9:00 am to 3:30 pm weekdays, except for the overnight.
Cost: $600 for 2 weeks
